Having a lung disorder, this was so much better than any indoor range and I eventually took my wife and under the careful and caring eye of the excellent Range Officer, she has begun to enjoy shooting also. A few of us made this our weekly routine and it was a lovely day out in a lovely area
That is until today, when we found out that the Range is now closed to pistols. REALLY? With no notice, no input and no reason??? I spent over 30 yrs in State Government and recognize the symptoms; new state worker with more political connections than common sense and respect for his/her constituents makes uninformed decisions without consulting those on the "firing line", only to advance his/her self interest. PLEASE...will they ever learn. Time to go up the food chain once again, I guess and wake some people up
